Getting Started
Understand Portal access, connect your first Proxmox Site and confirm live inventory.
What HSVE Portal does
HSVE Portal is a browser control plane for connected Proxmox environments. It brings Sites, guest inventory, power controls, VM configuration, Virtual KVM, snapshots, backups, monitoring, access control and Marketplace deployments into one place while the Proxmox management interface remains private.
Before you start
- An HSVE customer account with an eligible Template Script purchase if you need to create your own Site.
- Administrator access to the Proxmox VE host or cluster you want to connect.
- Outbound HTTPS/WSS access from the Proxmox environment to HSVE services.
- A supported browser for Portal and Virtual KVM sessions.
First-run flow
- Sign in to portal.hsve.co.uk with your HSVE account.
- Open Proxmox Sites and create a Site for your standalone host or cluster.
- Copy the one-time Agent enrolment command generated by Portal.
- Run the command directly on a Proxmox VE host with sudo/root privileges.
- Return to Portal and confirm the Site shows Online with a current heartbeat.
- Open Overview or Virtual Machines and wait for live inventory to appear.
