Deploy Marketplace Templates
Turn purchased HSVE Template Script releases into guided Proxmox deployments.
Before you deploy
- A Template product marked Purchased in Portal.
- A release that has an HSVE Portal deployment package available.
- A Site role with configuration permission.
- An online and sufficiently current Agent on the target node.
- Active VM-capable storage and an active Proxmox bridge on that node.
- Enough CPU, memory and disk for the release minimums.
Deployment wizard
- Open Deploy and choose a purchased Template.
- Select the target Site and node.
- Choose storage, network bridge and the available package source strategy.
- Set the VM identity and review CPU, RAM and disk allocation.
- Complete any release-specific OS configuration.
- Review the plan and select Deploy now.
VM name rules
Marketplace VM names must use Proxmox-safe characters. They can contain letters, numbers, dot, underscore and hyphen, must start with a letter or number and can be up to 63 characters.
| Valid | Invalid |
|---|---|
| Windows-11-Design | Windows 11 Design |
| ubuntu-web-01 | ubuntu web 01 |
| DB_Primary | #db-primary |
VM ID and resources
Leave VM ID on Auto unless you need a specific value. A manually selected VM ID must be between 100 and 999999999 and must not conflict with existing inventory or another queued deployment.
CPU, RAM and disk defaults come from the Template release. Portal prevents the deployment from going below the published release minimums.
Deployment security
Portal re-checks the customer's entitlement and live target server-side before queueing a deployment. Private package details and authorised source URLs remain server-side rather than being exposed to the browser.
